Second Progress Report – CRCP
This ACI 325 progress report presents brief data on the design and performance of recently constructed continuously reinforced concrete pavements constructed in Michigan, Maryland, Texas, Wisconsin, Maine, and Pennsylvania. Included are a description of experimental special terminal joint provisions and end anchorages, a summary of theoretical developments for selection of slab thickness and reinforcement, and a summary of present recommendations for design. The report concludes with recommendations for future research.
